At Levi’s® we know that occasionally you might need to return products you bought online with a gift card. If you return an item purchased with a Levi’s® e-gift card, your refund will come in the form of a new e-gift card.
Returning by Mail:
If you're returning an online order using a e-gift card by mail, here's what you can expect:
- Your refund will be sent in the form of a new e-gift card to the email address used for your order.
- Please allow 2–3 business days for your new e-gift card to arrive after your return is processed.
Returning in-store:
You can request one of the two options available if you choose to return an item purchased with your e-gift card online to one of our physical store locations:
- Your refund will be issued in the form of a new e-gift card.
- If you would like to swap an item or purchase something else in-store, you can choose to receive your refund as a store e-gift card* for immediate use.

Refunds for orders paid with multiple methods:
If you used a gift card along with another payment method for your online order:
- The amount paid with your e-gift card will be refunded as a new e-gift card sent to the email address on your order.
- Please allow 2–3 business days to receive your new e-gift card.
- Any remaining refund will be returned to your other payment method(s).
If you used a credit card as an additional payment method it can take up to 10 business days to show up back in your account.
Important Note: e-gift card balances
Please be aware that e-gift card balances cannot be transferred back to the original e-gift card, regardless of how much money is left on it. A new e-gift card will be provided for the amount of the refund, depending on the return option you select.
